Courses:

Our department offers a variety of courses for students from the basic training (BSc) through the master training (MSc) to the doctorate course (PhD). In these courses, students become acquainted with the basics of supra-individual disciplines such as Ecology, Nature and Environmental Conservation, Systematic Zoology and Ethology. Those interested are also offered a variety of special courses. In addition to the theoretical training, we also place great emphasis on practical training in the laboratory and in the field. We welcome students who would like to get involved in research, and we help them prepare their degree thesis or their paper for the National Scientific Students' Associations Conference.

Seminar of the department:

In the study period, we organize seminars on a weekly basis (usually on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons in the Gábor Kolosváry room), which are announced on our Facebook page. The basic purpose of the seminars is to provide graduate and PhD students who are inquiring with the opportunity to present their results, to discuss study plans, or to review a research area or topic.
